Changing lives

The Moore Barlow Silicon Cup Regatta aims to raise more than £1 million for three life-changing charities: Dreams Come True, the Andrew Simpson Foundation, and the Greig City Academy sailing programme. So far, we’ve raised more than £900,000 for worthy causes. Every boat makes a difference, every entry changes lives.

This year, the winning boat will have the privilege of nominating a “guest charity” that will receive 15% of the proceeds raised though the event. Please nominate in the online booking form, the charity you wish to support should you be the winner.

Dreams Come True

Dreams Come True

Each year 10,000 children in the UK are diagnosed with life threatening and long-term illnesses. With your help we can put smiles on the faces of many more sick children.

Greig City Academy sailing programme

Britain’s only inner-city school sail training programme. Since 2014, it has broken new ground in inspiring deprived students, mostly from BAME backgrounds, to transform their lives through sailing at all levels, from dinghies to ocean racing.

Andrew Simpson Foundation

Our fundamental ethos is to facilitate a wider participation in sailing, and to optimise the benefits that the sport can deliver to young people and ultimately to society at large.
